Bode Miller Wins First, Parties His Ass Off Later

We interrupt your day of Super Bowl hype and Spygate rumors with some news from the rest of the sporting world. (Yes Virginia, there are other sports events going on out there.) America’s top skier when he wants to be Bode Miller won his third consecutive super-combine event to take the World Cup.

Miller beat Ivica Kostelic by 1.37 seconds in two runs in Val d’Isère, France, the final super-combined event of the season. Natko Zrncic-Dim came in third in the event.

So you see, this is how it works in sports: Train hard and compete to the best of your ability, then you can party your ass off after you’ve won. Maybe Bode can keep that in mind when the Vancouver games come around in 2010.
