Skiing holidays can be a lot of fun but they’re not exactly a hassle-free vacation when it comes to planning them or even enjoying them. It’s hard to beat a perfect ski vacation when you have great snow, fantastic weather, and don’t wreck your knee or plow into a tree. While a skiing holiday looks great on paper, lots of things have to go your way so that you can have a great time on the slopes.

Travel to your ski destination can be the trickiest part, as it’s par for the course in this day and age to experience delayed and canceled flights, lost luggage, and all sorts of other trouble if you’re going to be flying. It may be easier if you’re driving or traveling by train, but that’s still no guarantee that you won’t encounter bad traffic, accidents and wrecks, and other delays.

If you arrive without a hitch, keep your fingers crossed that the weather will be nice and the snow plentiful. Weather has been difficult to predict in recent years so many traditional ski resort destinations have been struggling with far too little snow on the slopes and have been forced to resort to making their own snow (which is usually always inferior to the real thing).

If the weather and snow is great, then you’ll just need to dodge any accidents on the slope. Accomplish all that and you could be in for the ski vacation of a lifetime!

Bingo and March Madness might not immediately go together in your mind, but hey, grab the bingo card below, grab some friends and some beer, and let your imagination do the rest when watching the games:

If you’d prefer to take the more traditional route and simply bet on March Madness, well, that works too. It’s one of the busiest times of the year for online sportsbooks and betting sites and office pools are always big as well, with only the Super Bowl topping the NCAA basketball tournament in total money wagered:

“The NCAA basketball tournament is second only to the Super Bowl as the biggest sports-gambling event. An estimated $4 billion in wagers will be made during March Madness, with online betting sites expected to scoop up a third of the total. That can’t be good news either for the state-approved gambling ventures or the underworld ones. Internet gambling, most of it run from overseas, is still in its infancy. And it is as unstoppable as it is illegal. -Seattle Times”

Whether you have any money riding on the games or not, it’s hard to beat the excitement of March Madness, especially when a Cinderella team makes a deep run in the tourney and defies all odds.

If you’re looking to get your online sports betting fix, look no further than Online Casino Reports. The site is a online gambling guide that has a wealth of information about the best places to gamble online, including reviews of the top sportsbooks, news on breaking tournaments and promotional offerings, tips to find the best casinos and games, and a ton of other info.

Their website is very well laid out and easy to navigate, with major sections of the site featured across the navigation bar at the top of the page. Sections include a bonus hunter guide (which helps you cash in on all the great bonuses available out there), a news section dedicated to breaking news in the online gambling industry, tips and strategy guides for various games, and a guide to getting started with online gambling, as far as information about how to create an account, how to deposit and withdraw money, and other useful info. There’s also a forum for site members to get together and discuss their favorite sites, swap strategies, and just kick back and chat. The directory section of the site is where you’ll find reviews for pretty much anything gambling related that you’d like to wager on, including online casinos, sportsbooks, poker rooms, bingo, backgammon, online lotteries, gin rummy, and betting exchanges. The directory also lists various mobile betting offerings, so that you can whip out your iPhone and get your bets down no matter where you are in the world or what you’re doing. It’s always a good idea to check out reviews of sites you’re thinking about playing at, as picking a great site to play at is the first step to online gambling success.

If you’re looking for great bonuses and other promotions, check out the services section of the site, as that’s where they list all of the new player and reload bonuses from a huge number of online gambling sites. Bonuses covered include no deposit bonuses, new player sign up bonuses, high roller bonuses, and reload bonuses, as well as news on jackpot prizes and other promotions.

Another great feature of the site are all of the videos and other unique content, including a weekly video show that brings you the top news from the online gambling world, including poker news, casino news, and news on the best bonuses and promotions.

As Tiger Woods’ carefully crafted image and advertising empire implodes around him, you have to wonder what the future will hold for Mr. Tiger. Despite his “indefinite hiatus” from the game of golf, we all know he’ll be back out there winning tournaments 6 months from now, and it’s not like the world of advertising will be completely closed to him.

Whatever your take on infidelity is, Tiger’s transgressions aren’t quite on par with running a dog-fighting operation, smuggling drugs, or shooting yourself in the leg with a gun you shouldn’t have in a nightclub. Tiger will most definitely be back, and will get paid by someone to hawk their goods: it’s just a question of who and what, not when. With Gatorade and Gillette distancing themselves from Tiger (and Nike possibly next), who’s going to step up to the plate to pay Tiger as a pitchman?

Will we start seeing viagra online ads bearing the likeness of Tiger? With reports surfacing that Tiger was juggling 9 women at one time, maybe Ringling Bros. will throw their hat in the ring, or possibly a clown college. Maybe this whole “scandal” will really turn out to be a blessing in disguise for Tiger Inc., with a whole new world of advertising possibilities opened up to him. Now that the wholesome, squeaky-clean Tiger image is forever ruined, there’s nothing to stop him from whoring himself to anyone out there with a suitcase full of cash.

Lo and behold, Chris Henry actually managed to get cut by the Bungles this last week, after once again getting arrested for allegedly punching a dude in the face and breaking his car window with a beer bottle:

Municipal Court Judge Bernie Bouchard set bond at $51,000 on charges of misdemeanor assault and criminal damaging. Noting Henry’s previous arrests involving drugs, guns and alcohol, the judge called Henry “a one-man crime wave.” He ordered electronic monitoring if Henry makes bail.

Henry has had a string of problems with police. He was in court last week after being ticketed for driving with expired Kentucky license plates. He paid $149 in fines and court costs, according to the Municipal Court records. He was ticketed a year ago for driving with a suspended license.

Henry was arrested four times between December 2005 and June 2006. He was accused of possession of marijuana in northern Kentucky, carrying a concealed weapon in Florida, drunken driving in Ohio and providing alcohol to minors in northern Kentucky. In that case, he served two days in jail in 2006 after pleading guilty to a charge of letting minors drink alcohol in a hotel room he had rented.

That’ll be sweet, as far as tracking Chris electronically to see when the “one-man crime wave” will strike again.

“Oooh look, he’s getting close to some strip clubs…oh wait, crap, he’s just dropping off his dry cleaning. Hellooooo, he’s getting close to a school…shit, he drove right by.”

All hail the victor! I can’t wait for the coverage to begin on VERSUS next week when March Madness gets into full swing and I’ve totally forgotten about this. (Good planning you VERSUS frigtards!)

Not only has Mackey repeated as Iditarod champion, but for two years years now he’s won both The Last Great Race and the Yukon Challenge. That’s unheard of. Do we know if maybe his dog team is on HGH? Maybe Mackey was secretly videotaping the other dog sled teams running through their pre-race warmups. Someone call Arlen Specter!
