If you’re looking for “Real Gear For Real Fighters”, look no further than groundforpound.com, which is a Chicago-based distributor for a huge range of MMA gear including MMA gloves, rash guards, fight shorts, BJJ bels, gi sets, training gloves, handwraps, mouth guards, and more. They offer exactly the same gear you see fighters wearing in UFC and other MMA fights on cable and pay per view, so if you can’t be a professional MMA fighter yourself, at least you can train and dress like one in the exact same gear.

They also offer MMA-related casual wear as well, including men’s and women’s t-shirts, hats, beanies, and more. Like many Web-based distributors, they can offer you some great prices on MMA gear as they don’t have the normal overhead that bricks-and-mortar retailers do.

The site offers a variety of payment options (including all major credit cards as well as PayPal) and orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday. Orders placed on weekends are shipped out first thing Monday morning.

If you’re looking for MMA gear and apparel, give groundandpound.com a shot, as they offer great prices on a wide selection of MMA training products and fight gear.

UFC 73 STACKED was last night with some big names, big fights and expected results…. What?

Well, the two champions Sean Sherk and Andreson Silva held their respective titles…. Sherk had a good battle but Franca just couldn’t go 5 rounds.

Ortiz and Evans fought to a draw as Ortiz got a point taken away for holding the cage…. and he would have won had he not held the cage. Maybe he’s too use to holding large fake object he forgot to let go….

The real fight of the night was Antonio Rodrigo ‘Minotauro’ Nogueira and Heath Herring, ‘The Texas Crazy Horse’s fight. The Crazy Horse almost knocked Minotauro out with a kick to head in the last 20 seconds of round one. Minotauro was able to survive and took the last two rounds to win the match…. Great fight!

Well, if you’re like me and cheer for the underdogs and by cheer I mean, place bets on. Then you didn’t enjoy the weekend of fights.

Boxing: Cotto TKO’ed Oktay in the 11th round. And in Oktay’s defense his corner threw in the towel. Although, you think they might have thrown in the towel during the fight where he broke his jaw. Thus not leaving me with false hope. but whatev….

UFC: The Uprising.

Personally, I think they should have called this ‘The Comeback’. Or ‘The we use to be champs but lost’ or something to that effect. Either way, the ex-champs ended up winning their fights.

Randy Couture wins his 5th belt! Dominating all five rounds.

Rich Franklin wins in 2 rounds. Setting up a rematch with Anderson Silva

Matt Hughes winning all 3 rounds.
