Now when you put the words “Bernie Kozar” and “football” together, does that really conjure up memories of great gridiron moments for most Clevelanders? One wouldn’t think so, but when you are Jim Ferraro and you’re relocating a failed AFL franchise from Las Vegas to Cleveland, I guess you take whatever the football gods offer in terms of trying to establish local roots. And I suppose having Kozar as your figurehead is better than the alternative of hiring Tim Couch.
