Your team is losing to the Pacers, you disagree with a call and you just want to discuss it with the referee. Does that sound like an offense that should cost you $25,000? Well, the NBA thought it should because that’s the fine that was slapped on Mavericks coach Avery Johnson after he tried to argue a call with ref Bennett Salvatore in the fourth quarter. The Mavs ended up losing 111-107 and are now 9-4 with a two-game losing streak.
