Neifi Perez Loves Him Some Speed

Detroit Tigers’ shortstop Neifi Perez has once again tested positive for a banned stimulant, as he’s set to be suspended 80 games by Major League Baseball for his third failed test. Perez was coming down from a suspension of 25 games that started on July 6 for amphetamines, a sentence that was to end on Saturday. He was the first player to be disciplined under MLB’s new amphetamine policy.

What’d all that speed do for Neifi? Apparently not much, as he’s batting .172 with a home run and six RBIs.

So for all you kids reading along at home, don’t do drugs. Especially speed. And don’t be a dumbass and do speed while currently serving a suspension for doing speed. If you’re going to do drugs to boost your stats, do it like Barry did and at least pick good drugs.
