A note to any oddsnark fans left trolling the Internets

The powers that be here at oddsnark wanted to let everyone know that contrary to rumors running around in the media this site was not shut down after loosing a libel suit to a powerful celebrity actress and the staff did not all perish in a tragic boating accident involving mescaline and Mexican hookers. They wanted to let you know that, but they all made off with the petty cash and hightailed it to Venezuela or Thailand or someplace leaving us poor schlubs here holding the bag.

Anyway, in case anyone was wondering this site will be back in full operation as soon as all our writers get out of rehab an/or prison (one night with Lindsay Lohan and look what happens) and the new football season gets underway. The whole cast of oddsnark malcontents will be back at it very soon with all the wry observations, witty commentary and clever wordplay that has made this site one of the top several thousand sports blogs on the Internet tubes. And don’t worry, there will be plenty of gratuitous semi-nudity and bathroom humor as well.

So sit tight, enjoy what’s left of the summer, and check back for our previews of the NFL and college football season. And stay away from Lohan — far, far away; she’s bad news, man.
