Finally! A Figure Skating Movie

I know this is what most people out there are thinking. Finally, a Figure Skating Movie! Let’s face it, there just hasn’t been enough figure skating movies. I mean Ice Princess with Katrina Witt, come on. What other figure skating movies are there? I mean there’s the whole Tanya Harding / Nancy Kerrigan CNN coverage but that doesn’t really count as a movie. Although, I still await “The Life of Tanya Harding.” Imagine the drama and acting that an actress would have to pull off. That’s an oscar in the waiting.
This weekend “Blades of Glory” opens in theaters staring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. The movie looks ~~terrible~~ just about right with two male pairs figure skaters. It’ll be interesting to see the Oscars that come from this movie.
