Rate the Mate Update: Jordan Monroe and Terrence Nunn

Like any good blog site, from time to time we take a peek into our traffic logs to see what people are looking at and how they came to find themselves in this neck of the Interweb. The past week or so, we’ve seen a marked increase in searches for Jordan Monroe, so the management here decided we should find out what’s up and get the information to the people.

If you who don’t know who Jordan Monroe is, I can tell you fall into at least one of the following categories: You don’t follow Nebraska Cornhusker football, you don’t subscribe to Playboy, or you don’t read oddsnark. But to bring everyone up to speed, Ms. Monroe is a co-ed at Nebraska who posed for a nude pictorial in Playboy last year and was in fact Miss October. (Here’s you’re obligatory NSFW pics link.) It also so happened that she was dating Terrence Nunn, one of Nebraska’s star wide receivers.

So why the surge in interest in Ms. Monroe? Well, it might be because she’s super hot looking, or it might be because she’s now single. At least, according to her entry on Wikipedia, which states that she is “no longer in a relationship with UNL wide receiver, Terrence Nunn.” Of course we’re not vouching for the accuracy of this information, especially since it was discovered recently that the Wiki entry for Sinbad claimed the comedian was dead. Thankfully, we can report that the star of Jingle All The Way is very much alive (and hopefully working on a sequel).
