Guillermo Canas beat Roger Federer 7-5, 6-2 in the third round of the Pacific Life Open. Federer was going for his 42 straight victory and will have to settle for only 41 consecutive wins and winning the last 7 tournaments he’s entered, not bad I guess. To his defense Guillermo (how cool is that name?) was once ranked as high as eight in the world but was banned due to a drug suspension.
For what it’s worth, I always knew that Federer would lose to somebody who was all doped up. I just wish I would have put some money on the fact he would have lost.
