Simon says “eat my stick”

Wait.  This isn’t grade school anymore is it?   Well, then Chris Simon you’re going to be suspended.  Although, I really don’t think you’d be allowed to get a kid to eat your stick in grade school either…   But I digress, this is the NHL.

After intentionally trying to take Ryan Hollweg’s (who?)  head off last Thursday night Chris Simon has been suspended indefinitely.  Until today, when the NHL handed down the required game suspension.  The suspension is 25 games up to a possible 43 games, if the Islanders make it to game seven of the Cup finals, which if they do you can try to take my head off with a stick.  Simon will also forfit $80,000 in pay.  Yeah, that’s about 2 times what a ‘normal’ person makes a year.
So, for those of you wanting to take your stick and try to physically cut someones head off with it, it’s gonna cost you 25 games, or about $80,000.
