All the favorites win - UFC and boxing

Well, if you’re like me and cheer for the underdogs and by cheer I mean, place bets on.  Then you didn’t enjoy the weekend of fights.

Boxing:   Cotto TKO’ed Oktay in the 11th round.  And in Oktay’s defense his corner threw in the towel.  Although, you think they might have thrown in the towel during the fight where he broke his jaw.  Thus not leaving me with false hope.   but whatev….

UFC:  The Uprising.

Personally, I think they should have called this ‘The Comeback’.  Or ‘The we use to be champs but lost’  or something to that effect.    Either way, the ex-champs ended up winning their fights.

• Randy Couture wins his 5th belt!   Dominating all five rounds.
• Rich Franklin wins in 2 rounds.   Setting up a rematch with Anderson Silva
• Matt Hughes winning all 3 rounds.
