Remember a few months ago when Homeland Security baned anyone from bringing water bottles and other liquid container from airplanes because of a terrorist threat? Well, it sounds like Michael Vick didn’t get that memo.

According to the AP, Vick was stopped at the Miami airport and asked to surrender a 20 oz water bottle, which he did so reluctantly. (No word on if he flipped off the cops afterwards.) When the airport screeners inspected the bottle, though, they found not bomb making materials, but bong-worthy materials.

It seems that Ron Mexico’s water bottle had a hidden compartment, and what else do you do with hidden compartments? You put your weed in there.

The bottle was found to have a hidden compartment that contained “a small amount of dark particulate and a pungent aroma closely associated with marijuana,” the report said. The compartment was hidden by the bottle’s label so that it appeared to be a full bottle of water when held upright, police said.

The bottle was sent to a lab for further tests, so no charges have been filed yet, but I’m sure Vick will have a good explanation for us when the results of those tests are revealed. Like maybe he took the water bottle from the locker of a teammate.
