Junior Seau is obviously injured and being sued

It’s pretty obvious that when you are a high-profile, highly paid athlete and you go out and get drunk, you are going to get into trouble. You are either going to actually get into trouble, and end up in the police blotter, or at the very least someone is going to say you caused trouble and will probably try to sue you.

The latter has happened to Junior Seau, who was named in a lawsuit filed by two unidentified women claiming that the Patriots linebacker was “obviously intoxicated” at a bar last May, used “female-specific profanities,” and threw drinks at them. Obviously something happened at the Side Bar, but the fact that the incident happened months ago and that these women did not identify themselves in the lawsuit makes me wonder if it really went down as they describe.

Obviously, these gals and their lawyer are not very savvy when it comes to celebrity litigation. Where are the salacious details? Where’s the drama? Where’s the part where a drunk Seau grabs their ass or tries to cop a feel? Where’s the bathroom sex? No tabloid is going to waste valuable inches on this story, and without the tabloids harping on this story, there’s no way they’ll get any cash out of the guy.
