Things Dick Cheney Will Shoot
I know what you’re thinking: What won’t Dick Cheney shoot? Granted, the won’t-shoot list would be shorter, but it’s more interesting to note that Texas lawyers have joined such diverse company as little birdies and anyone currently residing in an oil-producing country.
Apparently our Veep accidentally sprayed Texas Funeral Service Commission member Harry Whittington with shotgun pellets while stalking quail in South Texas. Amazingly this isn’t the first time the Dickster has made news while hunting winged beasts; a couple of years ago he took Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia duck hunting in Louisiana just after the court agreed to hear a case involving Cheney. The NYT has the full story.
In case you’re wondering, hunting’s a sport.
