Two For Mexico: Fútbol and Football

In the world of fútbol (that’s soccer to you and me), Mexico defeated Norway 2-1 in an exhibition match leading up to this summer’s World Cup tournament. Luis Ernesto Perez scored the game winner in the 87th minute, beating Norway goal tender Espen Johnsen. Mexico will play in Group D in the World Cup, matching up against Angola, Iran, and Portugal.

Here in American, Ron Mexico (aka Michael Vick) emerged from exile for the first time since the Atlanta Falcons completed their 8-8 season and was pounced upon by any and all reporters looking for something to write about other than the Hawks-Cavs game Mexico, er I mean Vick, was attending. El Ron told the media he thinks Virginia Tech acted in haste in bouncing Little Mexico (aka New Mexico, aka Marcus Vick) from their football team after he “accidentally” stomped on the leg of All-American defensive end Elvis Dumervil and then lied about apoligizing for the classless act. El Grande Mexico also asserted that his little ‘bro would be exonerated from charges that he pulled a gun on three teenagers at a McDonald’s just days after being kicked off the team. Poco México is now living with his elder sibling in Georgia and has declared eligible for the NFL draft.
