Alaskan musher Lance Mackey and his dog team outpaced 30 other mushers to take first place in this year’s Copper Basin 300 over the weekend. A warm up to his run in this year’s Iditarod Trail Race, Mackey completed the course in 49 hours and 18 minutes. When asked how he felt after the race, Mackey said, “Brr brr brr. Fuck it’s cold out here, can’t we go inside now?”
