Hey SportsLine, Stop Ripping Us Off!

You loyal oddsnark readers, all three of you, have no doubt seen (and hopefully enjoyed) our ongoing installments called Rate The Mate, wherein we present pictures of famous athletes and their very hot significant others. Well, it seems that out little brainstorm for something to post when we couldn’t think of anything else to post has inspired another sports-themed Web site to do something similar. CBS SportsLine.com is running a bracket of athletes and their girlfriends/wives to find the hottest significant other. Okay, so they added the whole voting aspect, but they also have loads of CBS dough to pay Interweb flunkies to design all that stuff. Us? We got Chauncy, who’s great and all, but you can’t really expect a Bengal tiger to know much about online programming.

Anyway, we thought maybe those assholes at SportsLine might toss us a bone or something, a little swag, maybe just a “howdy-do,” but we got nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zed. Bubkis. Those evil little dweebs. Well, maybe we didn’t patent our idea (or copyright it, whatever) but I swear if they start running a series of profiles on Iditarod mushers, we’ll sick Chauncy on ‘em and take their asses out. SportsLine, you have been warned.
