Good Night And Good Luck: McCarthy To Coach Packers
Looks like the Green Bay Packers will hire Mike McCarthy as their 14th head coach. He comes to the job after a year as offensive coordinator with the 49ers, during which San Francisco managed all of four victories. Before that he was QB coach and offensive mastermind at New Orleans. Best of all for you Cheeseheads, McCarthy spent one year as QB coach in Green Bay under Ray Rhodes, who coached himself out of town after the team finished with an 8-8 record.
