The Texans are reportedly showing Dom Capers the door on Monday, after a stellar 2-14 season which was capped by a loss in the final game to the other piss-poor NFL team, the SF 49ers.
The Texans had been slowly improving under Capers until this season, when the wheels fell off, and the team sunk to a bush-league low in the final game of sitting starters in an attempt to win the Reggie Bush draft day sweepstakes. Sadly, they almost screwed even that up, finally squeaking out a loss in overtime.
For some unknown reason, owner Bob McNair has decided to fire Capers but to keep GM Charley Casserly. The only rational explanation we can think of is that Charley somehow managed to secure photos of ol’ Bob getting jiggy with a goat or other ruminant.

An original oddsnark founding member, but has since fallen by the wayside.
