Meet The Mushers: Max Hall

Pip, pip, cheerio, and all that good stuff. Max is an Englishman and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Well, at least he shouldn’t get lost along the trail to Nome. Max first experienced the Iditarod Trail Race as a tourist in the early 1990s before entering the race in 1995. His 47th place finish brought him back for another attempt in 1997, but he scratched in McGrath on that run. Max returned in 1999 to finish 37th and in 2000 when he came in 47th place before a six-year hiatus. Despite his dearth of racing experience, Max does have an official Web site touting himself as “The English Musher.”
