
Lynda is a longtime veteran of mushing and the Iditarod who carries the unofficial title of grandmother that has run the most Iditarod races. Go, Granny, go! Lynda moved to Alaska from Palm Springs, California, and entered her first Iditarod Trail Race in 1990. Her best finish was in 2002 when she placed 13th. Lynda is also a celebrity: she has been featured in the PBS documentary Sled Dogs: An Alaskan Epic, and a Discovery Channel feature on Denali Park.
