Kobe Lights Up Mavs for 62 Points

Attentive readers have probably noticed that I’m not Rusty’s biggest fan. Great individual performer on the basketball court, check. Great Good Decent team player or general human being? Eh, not so much.

But even I have to give Rusty credit where it’s due. Not only did he put up a career high 62 points against a good Mavs team on Tuesday night, but he did it in three quarters, playing only 33 minutes. That includes a 30 point 3rd quarter, which is a Lakers franchise record.

Kudos, Rusty. That’s a pretty incredible three quarters of basketball. Hats off to you.
