Meet The Mushers: John Baker
Another native Alaskan, John was born and raised in Kotzebue, which is near the coast of the Bering Sea above the Arctic Circle. You don’t get more Alaskan than that. He entered his first Iditarod Trail Race in 1996 and since 2001 he has been a consistent top 10 finisher.
