Stan Van Gundy Citing “family reasons”, Miami Heat coach Stan Van Gundy stepped down on Monday, replaced by Pat Riley as head coach.

According to the AP article reporting the news:

“I made this decision for one reason and one reason only: I love my family,” Van Gundy said. “It came down to a choice, and for me, the choice was clear.”

Not much snarky I can say about that. Good for you, Stan-o. Now you’ll have lots more time to hang with the kids and watch Kazaam, over and over and over.
