We’re On To You, Matt Millen
You made a big production and fired Mooch to let all the fans know you’re not content to have a losing football team, but no one’s buying what you’re selling, Matt. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is asking the same question, “Why not fire the guy who put that wretched team together?” Even the AP slipped the hint into its story:
Millen hired both Mariucci and his predecessor, Marty Mornhinweg, and drafted or signed most of the players currently on the Lions � and Detroit is an NFL-worst 20-55 since 2001. Millen, a former NFL linebacker and TV analyst was given a five-year extension before this season.
So now, Matt, you can go out and hamstring another coach with a bunch of dud players and maybe a washed up quarterback (Kerry Collins? Table for Mr. Collins) and see how he does. Hey, and if the Lions slide further, maybe Bill Ford will make you president for life.
