Former Dallas Cowboys receiver and ESPN commentator Michael Irvin was arrested Friday, Nov. 25 for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after his vehicle was searched following a traffic stop.
In addition to the speeding incident that landed him in trouble on Friday in Plano, Texas, Irvin also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for speeding in Irving.
Plano police spokesman Mike Johnson said he didn’t know what kind of paraphernalia was found.
(Psst, Mike, $20 says it was a crack pipe.)
Irvin’s arrest at least partially restores my faith in the long arm of the law, proving that no matter how damn good you look in a suit, you still shouldn’t speed in a car with drug paraphernalia in it, especially if you have outstanding warrants for speeding.
